The long-expected moment is getting near. You are thinking about the baby all the time – who it is going to look like, what is best for it, how you are going to take care of it, which diapers to choose, how and with what to sterilize and disinfect the feeding-bottles, the dummies and the toys. So many questions emerge in your mind.
We want to help you find the answer of at least one of these important questions by telling you about our new product – AMUKINA.
Since the day it is born your baby begins to adapt to the new world. In the first couple of months it does nît have a developed immune system. That is why we have to be sure that everything around it (feeding-bottles, dummies and toys) is clean enough. Here comes AMUKINA to help.
AMUKINA is a disinfectant used for sterilization of nursing-bottles, dummies, toys, glass, ceramic and rubber articles. This is a unique product for disinfection of fruits and vegetables, created by the pharmaceutical giant ANGELINI.
AMUKINA has been produced in Italy since 1939 and since 1994 it is being sold in USA and Canada. AMUKINA is a product, which affects a wide spectrum of viruses and bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus faecalis, Eschrichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Salmonella, even Å chinoccocus (Dog tapeworm). As the practice of the pharmaceutical companies is, there has been carried long clinical observation and it ended with excellent results, which is another guarantee for the quality of AMUKINA.
In Bulgaria Amukina can be found in two forms – concentrated solution and effervescent (soluble) tablets. One tablet is dissolved in 1.25 liters of water and then the products are put in the solution for a few minutes (not more than 15 min). When the products are taken out of the solution they must be thoroughly rinsed with water. AMUKINA concentrated solution is applied analogically – 20ml are dissolved in 1 liter of water.
As the active component of AMUKINA is sodium hypochlorite it is possible that you smell a light odor of chlorine coming out of the solution. Nevertheless, this smell is not left on the products after they are thoroughly rinsed. This is one of the advantages of AMUKINA – no residual taste or smell on the treated products.

There is an invisible aqueous-lipid layer (mantle) on the surface of the
healthy skin. It consists of an aqueous and a lipid phase. It is
formed by the function of the sebaceous and the sweat glands. The
sum of the dissociated components of the aqueous-lipid mantle has a
slightly acid reaction with pH level 5,5.
What is ðÍ?
ðÍ is a scale, which indicates if certain media is acid or alkaline.
Most cleaning and cosmetic products have ðÍ > 9. Some of them are with neutral ðÍ = 7.
However, the healthy skin has a slightly acid reaction with a pH level between 5 and 6,
average pH level –5,5. In order that the skin be kept healthy the cleaning and cosmetic
products must have a ðÍ 5,5.
Why does the surface of the healthy skin have a slightly acid reaction (ðÍ 5,5)?
In order that the skin can perform one of its main functions, i.e. protection
against microorganisms, it should have a slightly acid pH on its surface.
When the pathological microorganisms get onto the skin, they can develop
only if the pH level of the skin is 7 or more.
The pathological bacteria develop only on skin with a disturbed
aqueous-lipid mantle, which pH level is different than 5,5. For
this reason when using cosmetic products with an acid pH an
additional protective barrier is created.
Besides the bactericide effect, the slightly acid reaction of the
skin defines also the correct arrangement of the lipids in it and prevents
from water loss. That is why the healthy skin with pH 5,5 is well hydrated,
greased and without pathological microorganisms.
What is the situation with the newborn babies?
Babies do not have a developed protective acid layer. Their sebaceous and
the sweat glands are not functioning. Their skin surface is with a pH 7.
Gradually during the first weeks the skin starts functioning as an organ,
metabolic products are dissociated and pH falls down from 7 to 5,5.
During the whole childhood this protective acid coat remains very unstable.
This is the reason why a complete series for baby skin care with a slightly
acid reaction (pH 5,5, i.e. as is the pH of the healthy skin) is developed in Germany.
The main purpose of the medical cosmetics Baby Sebamed is substitute
the missing protective acid layer in the first months of baby’s life and
further its formation.
Due to its slightly acid reaction the complete cosmetics Sebamed helps the
natural protective function of the skin keeping the acid layer on the surface.
All products of Baby Sebamed series contain bisabolol (a chamomile extract with
zero potential of allergic reaction), vitamin E, panthenol (provitamin B5),
moisteners and natural lipids.

from crusta lactea (seborrhea of the scalp in an infant).
A clinical research carried out in a clinic for infectious diseases in
Frankfurt proves that when using cleansing products with pH 5,5, compared
to alkaline soaps, the reproduction of bacteria on the skin is reduced by
50% in 4 weeks. This fact proves the benefit of using cleansing products with
pH 5,5 in the protection against pathologic microbes. |

contains 42% lipids and unsaturated fatty acids. Created particularly for
children with dry skin and atopic dermatitis |

Cream against sore skin – contains additional squalene, which protects from the harmful
agents of the urine and the faecal matter. At the area of the diaper the ammonia of
the urine and the enzymes of the excrements make the media alkaline (basic) with a pH>7.
At that pH it is very easy for pathological microorganisms to develop, especially as
their amount is higher at this area. This is the cause of frequent infections at the
area of the diaper. The use of cream against sore skin with a pH 5,5 every time the diaper is
changed maintains the acid pH of the skin at the area of the diaper, which prevents the
development of pathologic microorganisms. It is recommended that baby’s bottom should be
cleansed with pH 5,5 wipes for additional protection. Baby Sebamed
